Verge is a ponzi

While seeing the expected crash in XVG and people’s reaction to it, I realized something: most people who didn’t sell are just heavy bag holders who would lose lots of money if they sold now. So they will be like workers for the XVG scam devs. They will shill the shit out of verge to get newcomers to buy this scam so that the price increase and their losses minimizes. And the devs knows this, that’s why the keep making those joke deadlines. To get people excited while their „workers“ get new people to buy it. And these new buyers will then become the new workers when Wraith don’t get released again. And I am pretty sure the people who shilled it last days were just people who bought it when it was more expensive. And this scheme is what drives the whole project. So to the newcomers here, don’t buy into this shitcoin and sell immediately if you bought some believe me the devs are fuckin‘ bastards and liars. They never intend to release just look at their last commits: only some GUI ad

When I buy too much shitcoin then up vote every mention of it on Reddit

UFR, An Undervalued Gem?

UFR will be on the headlights in January. The actual ways of sharing are simply obsolete, they rely on vulnerable and widely known platforms to search for the files, like The Pirate Bay, which suffers from many attacks or updowns. When you want to download a torrent you depend from some torrent site like The Pirate Bay or mega. UFR can replace the old P2P sharing with a new reliable, secure, fast and anonymous system. I just can't see why this won't moon next year. It is a revolutionary idea. Pros of the coin High quality whitepaper Unique concept & execution Responsive development team Solid roadmap Not a fork of any other blockchain 6m(!!!) Market Cap at the time I'm posting this. AI coins like DBC will take over the market in 2018.

AI blockchains have been gaining a lot of speed recently. DBC is definitely one of those coins to look out for, backed by a real company with real products, it really can't fail. It's not some vapourwave like a lot of the coins in the top 100 are. Also NEO ICOs have been absolutely killing it lately, definitely a big year coming for a lot of NEO related tokens like RPX, DBC, CPX, etc. submitted by /u/CIA_Bane [link] [comments] from Cryptocurrency news and discussions. http://ift.tt/2DHtDP4

Introduction to OysterPearl (PRL)

Introduction DAG (directed acyclic graph) is a new and exciting technology that has the power to disrupt the blockchain industry and improve efficiency. We’ve seen how IOTA and XRB can provide quick, feeless transactions. We’re just getting started on protocols built on top of DAG. OysterPearl is a low marketcap hidden gem that combines DAG technology of the IOTA Tangle and the smart contract technology of the Ethereum blockchain. Brief Summary of OysterPearl Oyster allows website visitors to contribute a portion of their CPU and GPU power to enable users’ files to be stored on a decentralized and anonymous ledger. In return, such users indirectly pay the website owners for maintaining the storage of their data. These files are stored on the IOTA Tangle. Nodes running the Oyster Protocol perform PoW to guarantee that the Tangle retains the data. The smart contract technology of the Ethereum Blockchain is used to produce the PRL token, therefore activating the unique token attribut

Bloom ICO is about to end, deciding if it makes sense to participate. Thoughts?

I've been following the Bloom ICO for a while and I wanted to get a better sense of what the community is thinking. So first the good as I see it: Equifax hack just happened, so timing for Bloom is good. All of the main team members are from Stanford have been in blockchain for years. Strong network of advisors, the former Chief Scientist of Experian is working with them, Joey Krug is one of their advisors. They're launching on mainnet tomorrow. They have a good number of partners building on the protocol. The team built a large identity company that alot of crypto companies use so they have experience in the space. And the risks: Cap is high. They have a $50m hard cap and have about $33m contributed so far. They're focused on alot of different things, it's a real lot for one team to work on. Credit is a tough space to enter, the big 3 bureaus are massive and who knows if anyone will actually take Bloom's score seriously. The published roadmap only h

Which new coins will be big in the new year?

Hey guys, I'm wondering what your thoughts are on new coins to invest in for the the new year. Personally I have a stake in Raiblocks but the market cap there is growing a lot so I'm looking for some other coins to get into. One coin I have been liking that is very new to the exchanges is DeepBrain Chain. This coin will decentralize difficult computations for AI and allow for computers around the world to process / contribute to the computing power necessary for AI to perform tasks. Anyways tell me about your picks and why we should research more about it. Thanks submitted by /u/teh-monk [link] [comments] from Cryptocurrency news and discussions. http://ift.tt/2DFpeMu

Rather than talking about price and stuff like that, could we have a tech Tuesday where you can only post about cryptocurrency technology?

Cryptocurrency shouldn't be about HODL!!!1!, it should be about tech. If people want it to actually take off, you need to spend it to create a stable currency. This shouldn't be looked at as an investment, it should be looked at as the future that happens to be an investment. Which goes back to not buying more than you can lose. submitted by /u/Boatsmhoes [link] [comments] from Cryptocurrency news and discussions. http://ift.tt/2q8k7lM

I Have to Give BitGrail Credit

Something went wrong last night when trying to move some XRB from my BitGrail wallet to my RailWallet, it said the transaction had been completed (was no longer in my BitGrail wallet) but the deposit never showed up in my RailWallet. I was freaking out thinking I had just lost about a $1000. When I clicked on the reference number on the transaction it said "invalid block". I created an open ticket and sent them a message on Twitter hoping that there was some chance to get this resolved, well in less than 12 hours I not only received a response but they made things right by manually depositing my RaiBlocks into my wallet. As much shit as they have been given I give them a huge amount of credit, any other exchange would have either responded a month later or my money would have been gone. Props to BitGrail for resolving the issue. submitted by /u/CaptainMorgan78 [link] [comments] from Cryptocurrency news and discussions. http://ift.tt/2C2SNqG

I've heard all the good about Raiblocks, what is the bad?

Is it decentralized? What is the incentive to run a node if the transactions are free? Is it secure? What prevents spamming the network in attacks if the transactions are free? What prevents a large attack caused by many nodes fabricating transactions? Can it withstand a true heavy load? DAGs require lots of nodes for speed, correct? With no incentive to run a node, how will this occur? Just trying to get some hard info and critical thinking going on this project. submitted by /u/intertron [link] [comments] from Cryptocurrency news and discussions. http://ift.tt/2Cv03Ng

There’s a ton of Unnecessary Hatred being directed towards Bitcoin from the Alt Community

Let me start by saying, Bitcoin is not what everyone hoped it would be. I understand, but there’s a level of appreciation I have for Bitcoin and I wish others would recognize the value Satoshi Nakamoto’s creation has brought to the world. Instead, everyone is busy hating on r/bitcoin and Bitcoin hodlers. Cheering when market share for Bitcoin crashes. Let me tell you something, if Bitcoin crashes too hard too fast, the whole experiment will get set back a couple years. Right now, Bitcoin is the gateway to all other altcoins. The media covers the bull runs and the falls of Bitcoin. If Bitcoin goes on another tear for 4 months, where do you think 70% of that money is going to end up in the end? In alts that actually function, that’s where. If Bitcoin were to just crash all at once, the msm would write another obituary about the obvious Bitcoin bubble, and then it would likely take another couple years to get the crypto space back in the eyes of the public. Hating on Bitcoin is like

RaiBlocks (XRB) is literally revolutionary

I can't believe it I have been invested in Bitcoin since 2015 and multiple other ALT's since November but RaiBlocks is something else. Forget all the fancy features other coins have RaiBlock does one thing and does it PERFECTLY! I just sent .00008 XRB (worth absolutely nothing) and it took less than 4 seconds to send and my receiving wallet received exactly that WHAT. Holy Shit, While I wish bitcoin and other alts the best but I would love to see XRB replace Ripple in the second place spot on the market cap. A Sleeping Giant - Waltonchain

Waltonchain reminds me of antshares when I first invested, a coin with a great team and tech, but lack of proper marketing until the rebrand. Today Waltonchain owns numerous patents, has an already working product, and is partnered with multiple multi-billion dollar companies & government contracts. I wanted to make others aware of the potential they have and I think they have been drowned in the noise of the current markets hype.
